Participatory Economics UK is a membership organisation. Members are advocates of Participatory Economics with a shared interest in promoting the model through educational work. If you are interested in applying to become a member, please first read the documents below which explain in detail how the group makes decisions, its aims, as well as the responsibilities and rights of members.
The Joining Process
To become a member of Participatory Economics UK, applicants first undertake a training period, during which they will be assigned a mentor and asked to complete a workbook. This is to ensure that anyone joining has a good understanding of the participatory economics model and of the organisation.
Membership is open to anyone who has successfully completed their training period, supports the aims of the Group and agrees to the responsibilities of membership, including paying membership fees and attending the annual general meeting.
